About us

Retro Big Box started with a shelf that ran out of room.

We have spent years buying, restoring and reselling PC games in their original big boxes: the cardboard ones, the ones with cloth maps, hundred-page manuals and a copy-protection code wheel. The ones nobody makes any more and that get harder to find complete every year.

How we work

Every game we list goes through the same process: cleaned, checked piece by piece, photographed on a neutral background and graded. What you see in the listing is what is in the box; if something is missing, we say so. There is no stock of ten units: every listing is a single piece, and when it sells it leaves the catalogue.

Selling your collection?

We buy lots and complete collections of boxed PC games. If you have a shelf you no longer look at, or you have inherited a cardboard box full of floppies, write to us: we will tell you what is there, what it is worth, and make you an offer with no commitment.
